'The Reordering Works of the Universe' were a series of Great Works performed by the Supreme God (Sangje) in order to reform the nature of old Heaven and Earth ruled by mutual conflict and to optimize Humanity into a new form that is suited to the Earthly Paradise of Later World. The Great Works were performed exclusively through Sangje’s intervention in the divine(spiritual) world to reorganize its order and let all deities work in harmony.
The result of the Great Works has already manifested in the current world and can be observed in more and more events as time unfolds. These historical and current events occur in accordance with Heaven-ordered Predeterminations (Cheonji-dosu)*and such events will continue arising in this manner until the opening of the Later World.
The Great Works, performed by Sangje from 1901 to 1909, were mainly focused on setting up the means by which all kinds of grievances and grudges that had fully prevailed in Three Realms (Heaven, Earth, and Humanity) can be resolved and made to never happen again.
Sangje performed the Reordering Works through principles outside of our world, which means that they were not performed in the human world but in the divine world. As such, they could hardly be understood by people as they represented an unprecedented new law. He worked on the divine world (realm) and made it so that divine beings could attain the resolution of their own grievances and grudges first.
The Reordering Works of the Universe were preferentially performed as acts of celestial and terrestrial renovation. The Holy Works that rectified Heaven were: The replacement of the deities of netherworld as they had been the cause of chaos in human world, The replacement of the masters of Confucianism, Buddhism, and Daoism which were the basis of culture in the Former World, and The resolution of Danzhu’s grievance as he was the first to bear a grudge in recorded human history.
The Holy Works that reorganized Earth were: Taking the essence of all cultures and brought them into unity with one another, Changing and unifying the energy of Earth (Shinho, New Trench Holy Work),
and Enabling commodities and currencies among nations and villages to be exchanged freely.
All of these Holy Works were performed to elevate the world into an environment that improved human existence.
Through His great authority, the disorder of Heaven and Earth is set to be rectified gradually and thoroughly. However, what now remains is humanity’s own part, which must be performed by humanity itself for the sake of their own transformation. In other words, they cannot rely on any other being for their own transformation but have to carry on spiritual practices themselves in order to cultivate their minds and bodies so that all their grievances and grudges (known as ‘negative karma’ in Buddhist terminology) can be resolved and cleared away and they recover their pure innate conscience. It is referred to as ‘the enlightening of mind and discipline of character (修心鍊性)’ while ‘purifying and refining their energy and essence (洗氣煉質)’.
However, what made this transformation possible for humans was Sangje’s Great Works that made great deities enter into one’s mind and help correct his/her disposition and personality.
*Heaven-ordered Predeterminations (Cheonji-dosu): Celestial and cosmic plans previously made by Sangje in the divine world, which will unfold through various events in the human world each in their own due time.
*Danzhu: He was the son of the legendary Chinese Emperor Yao (Tang Yao). His mother was a concubine, San Yi.
